Firstly, If you’re unaware of who Timothy Ferriss is, don’t worry because I’m about to tell you….
Author, Public Speaker, Entrepreneur, Efficiency Genius, Podcaster, Blogger, Investor, Business Advisor, Health Junkie…. So yea….
He’s a bit of a legend in the Business World and is incredibly successful in most aspects of his life.
I first picked up Tims book – The Four Hour Work Week, in 2010.
In fact, I read The 4 Hour Work Week next to a swimming pool whilst on holiday in Greece. I was working my ass off as a builders labourer at the time, and I could barely afford the holiday, but I needed a break to recover from life.
This book forced me to question and challenge the conventional mindset around generating income, trading time for money, and the outdated concept of working until you can finally afford to retire and ‘enjoy life’.
This book is the catalyst that got the ball rolling on my entrepreneurial journey, and I’ve read it many times since.
It made me realise that wealthy people don’t have ‘jobs’, instead they have automated, multiple income streams.
Tim educated me on the 80/20 rule. Showed me how to focus my attention on the 20 percent of actions the yield 80 percent of the results. (Genius!)
If you haven’t read this book yet. DO!
